The Importance of Dental Health
Dental health is a very vital part of keeping your mouth and teeth healthy. Without the correct oral care, your teeth can simply fall into any one of a number of serious oral conditions including tooth loss, gingivitis or tooth decay. As your mouth has contact with numerous types of bacteria, it can develop into a breeding ground for all sorts of nasty germs. However, by focusing on taking the correct care of your teeth you can steer clear of many of these health risks.
Your dental health is vital for a number of reasons. For example, if there are bacteria accumulate on your teeth, it eventually turns to plaque. The plaque eats away at your tooth causing bleeding and pain. Worse still, the infection can reach its jaw bone and extended to other teeth. While it is possible to take out that tooth, if measures are not taken, the infection can multiply throughout the body leaving the individual with a deadly disease. Gum disease is another likely problem for those who cannot take care of their teeth. Eventually, all of these scenarios can leave you with aching, bleeding or infection.
Working along with your dentist and taking the correct care of your teeth and mouth, you can steer clear of many of these nasty situations. You can even be able to improve the quality of teeth close to normal. It’s never too late to start working on the hygiene of their teeth. This will help protect you and will save you a lot of money and pain in the long term. Many of the conditions can be repaired in time and through constant attention.

Putting my feelers out for a good Board Certified Cosmetic Dentist in Jacksonville. My bridge broke, and not really interested in implants….went that route and not thrilled with “grafts” and waiting period. I need a dentist that’s interested in fixing my teeth….not going immediately to “implants.” Do you have a list of qualified and experienced dentists in this area? …no newly practices….been there…not satisfied.
Many thanks, Rebecca

i really don’t know what to say, dentist should be human beings and help at least 2 maybe 3 people after hours for free, i seen a show Dr. g that had a person come in her morgue and his death was poison from a tooth. he would not go to the dentist and now where is the help for people that want want help? god helps them that helps themselves. we have to figure out how to do this. i am not sure how we can do this but first let’s send e-mail to our congressman, in our states. i’ll bet they all have pearly whites. now let’s help our selves. let us bombard them with e-mails everyday. don’t let up. you can’t let up. we pay for the government to be rich. what the ,i am going to cuss, am trying to find the ,oh hell, fuck can,t they help us.
I have been dealing with chronic pain for years now, and the medicine’s that my doctors had to put me on… ruined my teeth, I have cavities in almost every single tooth, I have 6 completely broken teeth.. I can not eat ANYTHING anymore without being in severe pain. I am a 31 year old female and am unable to work due to partial paraylisis in my leg… I cannot afford to fix my teeth, I have not been able to find ANY dentists that are willing to help me without charging me ridiculous amounts (which i can’t afford with a 7 and 5 year old to take care of too) or there other option is just to pull out 90% of my teeth, I am 31 years old, I want to be able to smile and feel good about life and I really want to be able to enjoy food again… If anyone knows ANYTHING about cheap dental help in Washington state, PLEASE tell me!!!! I just want to SMILE and Eat again!! Thanks for listening
I am disabled and live in Orlando, FL on a fixed income. I am diabetic and I am in dire need of a dentist. I don’t have insurance and can’t afford it…is there anywhere I can go and pay on a sliding scale…Someone please help?
Jeez, people! Wake up!!! Everyone on here is whining about having no money to pay the dentist and thinks they should be willing “out of the goodness of their hearts”. Well, let me tell you – the goodness of their hearts isn’t going to pay for the expensive machines required to practice dentistry, the hygienist, office expense, not to mention astronomical student loans!! If you really need help go to a dental school and let them practice and learn on you! The problem with America today is people who expect something for nothing and everybody else to take care of them! Own your choices and take responsibility for your own health!!!
